Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the DM program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.
During the DM program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems. You put this knowledge into action through an internship or series of practical training exercises.
Blue Marlin's philosophy on Divemaster Training is the best way to learn is to experience how a dive centre operates on a day-to-day basis, not just reading books and doing simulated exercises, but by actually helping the instructor train real students in there diving courses.
What you should also know is that the Divemaster program is also serious fun! You will become a member of the Blue Marlin "family" and dive, eat, drink and party with us - our Divemaster trainees have a tendancy to come back year after year, and we really enjoy seeing how you get on with your dive careers! So if you wnt a vacation where you get professional level skills, dive to your heart's delight and build friendships that last forever - then come and train with us!
