Our aim is not only to provide a conducive environment for training but a facility where qualified technical divers can actually use their skills to dive the many wrecks and deep walls that the Gili islands and Indonesia have to offer.
We feel a gap exists in the dive industry as many places offer technical training to divers but few offer daily guided technical dives and technical live aboard expeditions. Our aim is to try and fill this gap in the industry.

Although we recommend all technical fun divers use their own equipment, we realise there are times that it may not be practical for you to bring everything with you. We have a wide variety of necessary tech equipment available (primaily Apeks and OMS) and we also have a huge variety of tanks available, including 22lt isolation manifold twins, 25 lt. isolation manifold twins, single 11lt, 8lt, 5ltr,4lt and 3lt decompression tanks. All our boats are equipped with emergency oxygen, mobile hand phones and an extra supply of deco gas. We even have buddy evolution and evolution + closed circuit rebreathers for courses, rental and retail as well as a generous supply of Sofnolime grade 797 for our rebreather clients.
Our technical dive shop is fitted out with everything you could ever need, from quality regulators to custom hoses and technical diving computers. You will find not only are our prices extremely competitive, we only stock technical equipment that through our extensive experience does the job it is supposed to do. This will save you time and money in the long run as you will not purchase dive equipment, only to find out later that it does not meet your requirements. Most of our equipment is specialized and you will not find it in your local dive store.
DAILY TECHNICAL DIVING
We have many sites based close to the Gili islands. These can be easily accessed by our purpose built technical dive day boat. The Gilis are blessed with beautiful recreational diving depths from 10m to 30m and because the ocean around us drops off to over 1200m with strong currents, we have a variety of marine life including sharks, rays, turtles and pelagic fish. Around the 40m range the islands shelf drops off and we have beautiful walls starting at 40m - 100m, which because of their depth are only visited by technical divers and are therefore in pristine condition. If you enjoy wreck diving, we have a beautiful Japanese Submarine Chaser from world war II lying in approximately 45m, totally intact.
Liveaboard Technical Expeditions
Blue Marlin also operates live-aboard trips. The trips cater for recreational and technical diving around Moyo National Marine park and Komodo National Park as well as rebreather only and custom tailored itineraries. You can e-mail us direct with specific enquiries from the contact page.
